Job summary

PROPAC INTERNATIONAL SDN BHD is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee outsourced security personnel and ensure on-site discipline and compliance with regulations. The role involves monitoring service delivery, coordinating emergency responses, and maintaining inspection records across the site in Penang.

The successful candidate will conduct self-assessments, implement local regulations, review ledgers, manage risk handovers, and support security drills to strengthen our security management

Responsibilities

• Oversight of outsourced security personnel on duty, verify service implementation and on-site discipline, maintain inspection records.
• Emergency Response Coordination: coordinate handling of security emergencies, organize on-site control, reporting, and liaison with departments and external agencies.
• Security Compliance Management: self-assess security practices for compliance, implement local security regulations and RBA requirements, identify non-compliant issues.
• Ledger Review: review access control, material in/out, and patrol ledgers to verify data completeness and standardization.
• Risk Identification Tracking and Handover: complete handover of duties, coordinate with GA and safety, report risks, ensure closed-loop follow-up.
• Safety Drills Assistance: assist in special inspections and drills, promote security management system implementation.

Job description

1. Oversight of outsourced services: Monitor the performance of outsourced security personnel on duty, verify the implementation of services and adherence to on-site discipline, and maintain records of inspections.

2. Emergency Response Coordination: Coordinate the handling of security emergencies during duty, organize on-site control, reporting, and liaison with various departments and external agencies.

3. Security Compliance Management: Conduct self-assessments of security practices to ensure compliance, implement local security regulations and RBA requirements, and identify non-compliant issues for prompt rectification.

4. Ledger Review: Review access control, material in/out, and patrol ledgers to verify the completeness and standardization of outsourced registration data.

5. Risk Identification Tracking and Handover: Complete the handover of internal and external security personnel duties, coordinate with general affairs and safety departments, report security risks, and ensure closed-loop follow-up.

6. Safety Drills Assistance: Assist in special security inspections and emergency drills, and promote the implementation of security management systems.
