Job summary

Securight Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Security Executive to oversee security operations at a warehouse site in Klang Valley.

You will lead investigations, manage guards, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with TAPA standards and site SOPs. The role requires 12-hour shifts, willingness to travel within Klang Valley, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in security investigations is an added advantage.
• Good communication and writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and 26 days per month.
• Able to work on flexible shifts according to operational requirements.
• Willing to travel within Klang Valley to support other sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead security investigations, including SID documentation and closure.
• Assist with TAPA Risk Assessments, warehouse assessments and audits.
• Act as the key contact between Operations and Client Security Management.
• Handle conflicts, incidents and emergencies effectively.
• Manage security manning, scheduling and KPI performance.
• Conduct regular training, briefings and roll calls for Security Officers.
• Ensure compliance with TAPA Standards and SOPs.
• Conduct weekly security inspections and maintain CCTV/EDS/IDS/VMS/Face Recognition systems.
• Prepare security and operational reports as instructed by Client Security Management.
• Provide support for security administration and other operational duties.

Job description

Securight Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a dedicated and experienced Security Executive to manage security operations at a warehouse site in Klang Valley Area. The role involves leading security investigations, managing security personnel, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with TAPA Standards and site requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security investigations, including raising Security Incident Documents (SID), follow-ups, information and document gathering, root-cause investigation, improvement and mitigation plans, interrogation, SID reporting and closure.
• Assist with TAPA Risk Assessments, warehouse assessments and audits.
• Act as the key contact person between Operations and Client Security Management.
• Handle conflicts, incidents, accidents and emergency situations effectively.
• Manage security manning according to contract requirements, including scheduling and shift rotation, and maintain Security Officers' performance in accordance with SSP KPIs.
• Conduct regular training, briefings and roll calls for Security Officers.
• Ensure compliance with TAPA Standards, site requirements and SOPs.
• Conduct weekly security inspections and ensure the functionality of security systems, including CCTV, ACS, EDS, IDS, ViMS, VeMS and Face Recognition systems.
• Prepare security and operational reports as instructed by Client Security Management.
• Provide support for security administration and other operational duties as required.

About you

• 1–2 years of experience in security investigation is an added advantage.

• Must have a clear background history.
• TAPA-certified auditor qualification is an added advantage.
