HAVI TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Security Architect to design, secure and govern our hybrid enterprise infrastructure and cloud ecosystems. You will embed robust security gates into the infrastructure change lifecycle and drive architecture reviews aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in cybersecurity with infrastructure or cloud security focus.
• Deep understanding of secure architecture across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud.
• Experience with cloud security controls in Azure, AWS, or OCI.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, CIS Benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Design, secure and govern core enterprise infrastructure and cloud ecosystems.
• Perform architecture reviews and embed security gates in the change lifecycle.

About The Role

We are looking for a Security Architect to join our TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur! This person will help us to design, secure, and govern our core enterprise infrastructure and cloud ecosystems. This role focuses on assessing new infrastructure projects, performing architecture reviews, securing hybrid-cloud environments, and embedding robust security gates into the infrastructure change management lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in enterprise networking and cloud security with strong governance awareness, ensuring our global platforms remain resilient, compliant with ISO 27001 and NIS 2, and aligned with business objectives.

The Skills

• 3–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on infrastructure architecture, cloud engineering, or security design reviews.
• Solid understanding of secure architecture principles across enterprise networks, hybrid datacenters, and cloud environments.
• Proven technical knowledge of cloud security controls within enterprise platforms (Azure, AWS, or OCI).
• Familiarity with foundational security frameworks and infrastructure standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, CIS Benchmarks).
• Understanding of risk assessment methodologies, threat modeling, and infrastructure security controls.
• Experience working alongside IT Service Management (ITSM) and corporate change management processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills to propose innovative security solutions for complex business requirements.
• Team player with experience working in diverse, multicultural, and globally distributed virtual teams within a matrix organization.
• Full English fluency both spoken and written.
• Pluses: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, SABSA, Azure/AWS Security Specialty); experience in regulated environments or compliance programs (NIS 2).
