Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Malaysia seeks a Section Manager, Automation to lead automation initiatives across Krubong/Melaka.

You will guide engineering teams, oversee KPI reporting, and drive standardization and digital transformation aligned with Industry 4.0. The role requires 8–12 years of leadership in automation, a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics/Automation, and hands-on MES/SECS-GEM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer, Electronics or Automation Engineering.
• 8–12 years of leadership experience in automation engineering.
• Proven track record in multi-fab automation leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee KPI reporting processes.
• Lead teams of automation engineers across multiple sites.
• Develop and enforce automation standardization across sites.
• Manage CapEx and overhead budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and build self-sufficient teams.
• Identify manual processes for automation and drive global rollout.
