Job summary

Sun Life Malaysia is seeking a dedicated risk professional to identify, assess, monitor and report financial and takaful risks in line with the company framework and Bank Negara Malaysia expectations. The role emphasizes technical risk review, analysis and reporting under senior management oversight.

You will contribute to risk governance, assist in risk committee reporting, policy reviews, and the development of risk awareness materials to foster a strong risk culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Risk Management or related discipline.
• Progress in actuarial or risk qualifications is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support risk committee reporting and risk register updates.
• Oversee risk policies and operating guidelines maintenance.
• Monitor risk appetite and reporting metrics quarterly.
• Prepare independent risk assessments and review issuer risk profiles.
• Support MBCT governance and analytics across the risk function.
• Assist in asset liability and portfolio risk parameter reviews.
