Job summary

Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad seeks a Shariah Risk Analyst to support the SRM framework across the Takaful business. You will identify, assess, monitor, and report SNC risks while promoting a strong risk culture and ensuring compliance with regulatory and Shariah governance requirements.

The role collaborates with business units to strengthen risk awareness and drive effective SNC controls, with periodic reporting to senior committees. Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Shariah or Islamic finance required.
• Relevant professional certification is a plus.
• Experience with risk management and regulatory expectations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, monitor and report Shariah Non-Compliance (SNC) risks.
• Develop and review Shariah Risk Management policies for Takaful operations.
• Collaborate with business units to identify SNC risks and implement controls.
• Monitor SNC incidents and validate corrective actions with records kept.
• Prepare SNC risk reporting for Management, Shariah Committees and Board Committees.
