Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven SEO experience, including agency management.
• Deep knowledge of technical SEO, structured data/Schema, site architecture, and entity-based optimization.
• Proficiency in SEO and search analytics platforms including Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog.
• Understanding of search algorithm shifts, LLM/ retrieval behaviors (RAG), and user search intent mapping.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and client communication in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unified Search Strategy: Formulate and execute modern search roadmaps combining technical SEO, GEO, and AEO for brand dominance on Google and AI engines.
• Semantic & Entity Architecture: Oversee schema markup, Knowledge Graph alignment, semantic content clusters, and entity co-occurrence.
• Team Leadership & Process Modernization: Mentor SEO Leads and Senior Specialists, update SOPs to include AI search auditing and LLM visibility tracking.
• Client Performance & Reporting: Present multi-engine performance insights and ROI metrics to stakeholders, demonstrating growth in organic traffic and conversions.

Role Description

Full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur. In this AI-driven search era, the SEO Manager oversees client growth by integrating traditional SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) into unified, business-focused strategies. You will manage high-value client portfolios, architect technical and semantic foundations, lead team workflows, and ensure client brands win visibility both in classic search engine results pages (SERPs) and conversational AI responses.

Key Responsibilities

• Unified Search Strategy: Formulate and execute modern search strategy roadmaps combining technical SEO, GEO, and AEO to secure brand dominance on Google organic search and AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews).
• Semantic & Entity Architecture: Oversee advanced Schema markup (JSON-LD), Knowledge Graph alignment, semantic content clusters, and brand entity co-occurrence across client web assets
• Team Leadership & Process Modernization: Direct and mentor SEO Leads and Senior Specialists, updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) to include AI search auditing, conversational keyword research, and LLM visibility tracking.
• Client Performance & Reporting: Present multi-engine performance insights and clear ROI metrics to client stakeholders, demonstrating growth in organic traffic, AI citations, and conversions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with content, design, and technical teams to integrate search, answer, and conversion design best practices into client campaigns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven SEO experience, with at least 2+ years in an agency management capacity, demonstrating a strong understanding of GEO and AEO principles.
• Deep knowledge of technical SEO, structured data/Schema graphs, site architecture, and entity-based optimization.
• Proficiency in SEO and search analytics platforms (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog) alongside modern AI visibility tracking tools.
• Clear understanding of search algorithm shifts, LLM retrieval behaviors (RAG), and user search intent mapping.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and client communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or related fields preferred.
