Job summary

LIPTON Teas and Infusions is seeking a SEA Project Manager to lead the new product development network and manage projects from conception to market rollout across SEA. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery, artwork development, and regulatory approvals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent and at least 5 years in Marketing/Brand Management or Packaging Artwork Management, with strong stakeholder management and project

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing/Brand Management / Packaging Artwork Management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build productive working relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with cross-country, cross-functional complex timelines and network delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of FMCG and its ways of working to drive global solutions while understanding local requirements.
  • Entrepreneurial accountability to drive projects forward with attention to timelines.
  • Fluency in peer influence and organizational agility.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organisation

Responsibilities

  • Develop project timelines and manage SEA market network detailing key tasks and milestones.
  • Hands-on artwork development including sourcing files, consolidating data, briefing artwork, liaising with third-party agency, and obtaining approvals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional input for new projects and involve functional experts as needed.
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, R&I, Regulatory, Quality and Finance to align cross-functional activities.
  • Facilitate project communications to stakeholders and ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Address stakeholder needs and expectations in planning and execution.
  • Identify, assess and manage project risks and drive corrective actions.
  • Monitor milestones, timelines and deliverables to ensure success.
  • Establish and run project governance.
  • Provide management reports and flag risks with mitigation plans.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for SEA product registrations.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and agencies to ensure smooth approvals, artwork delivery, and on-time production.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

As a SEA Project Manager you will lead the new product development network and project management process from conception to completion to ensure products are successfully rolled out to markets within the SEA markets. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project timelines and manage project network for SEA market detailing the key tasks and milestones.
  • Hands-on artwork development includes obtaining source files, consolidating master data, preparing the artwork brief, liaising with a third-party artwork agency for the artwork development/revision lead time, and getting approvals from stakeholders involved.
  • Coordinate cross-functional input for new projects and facilitate involvement of the functional experts as needed.
  • To manage cross-functional activities alignment and work closely with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, R&I, Regulatory, Quality and Finance Department.
  • Facilitate project communications (project status, action items, milestones) to key stakeholders and ensure teams are responsible for completing tasks at hand.
  • Work to address the various needs, concerns, and expectations of the stakeholders in planning and executing the project.
  • Proactively identify, assess and manage project risks while leading problem-solving activities and driving corrective actions.
  • Monitor project performance, milestones, timelines and deliverables to ensure project success and achievement of targets.
  • Establish and run project governance.
  • Provide management reports and updates including to flag on risks (if any) & develop mitigation plan to manage on deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate product registration in SEA.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure a smooth and on-time approval process, artwork delivery, and production as planned.

Skills and Experience

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing/Brand Management / Packaging Artwork Management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build productive working relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills - previous experience in managing cross-country, cross-functional complex project timelines & network to be delivered on time in full.
  • Strong knowledge of FMCG and its ways of working in terms of driving global solutions but understanding the local requirements
  • Entrepreneurial accountability to drive projects forward in a disciplined approach with an attention and love for details and meeting timelines.
  • Fluency in peer influence and navigating with organizational agility.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organisation

Nice to have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 equivalent
  • FMCG exposure with SEA product compliance knowledge
  • An excellent communicator and able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
