Job summary

ENPLUS SDN BHD is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget control, and quality delivery.

You will coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams, manage risks, track progress, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining effective communication and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in project management.
• Experience handling medium to large project values.

• Strong cost control, risk management and contract administration.

Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing engineering projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The position holder reports to the General Manager / Director and works closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments across parent and affiliated companies to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

The position holder shall be responsible for:

Lead and manage the execution of secured projects from initiation to completion.

Plan, monitor and control project budgets, schedules, resources and profitability.

Manage project stakeholders and coordinate internal and external parties.

Oversee contract administration, variation orders and project documentation.

Drive project performance, manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee project execution and manage all project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Lead project planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution to ensure all activities are completed within scope, time, and budget.

Manage field operations and ensure proper installation works are carried out in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Review and resolve technical drawings and design issues, conduct site inspections, and provide technical recommendations.

Identify project risks, prepare Risk Assessments, and implement mitigation plans.

Develop and review Method Statements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other site documentation required for project execution.

Provide regular project updates, status reports, and escalation to management to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.

Coordinate and manage 3rd party contractors and subcontractors to ensure proper execution, workmanship, and delivery.

Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring all key milestones are met and project objectives are achieved.

Ensure project compliance with contract terms, company policies, and quality standards.

Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned for future project performance.

Requirements

Education: Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Knowledge/Experience/Others

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in project management, handling medium to large project values

Proven ability to develop, manage and control project schedules and timelines

Strong experience in project cost control, risk management and contract administration

Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead project teams and coordinate cross-functional departments

Experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Results-oriented with strong reporting skills to both management and clients

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and written)

Able to travel overseas

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings preferred

QA/QC knowledge preferred

Able to travel within SEA for project execution (1-2 times a month during peak season),

Possess class 3 driving license with own vehicle

Able to work independently

Ability to multi-task

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates with more relevant experience may be offered a higher salary.
