Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking a Regional Data Centre Director for Southeast Asia to lead 24x7 data centre operations across the portfolio. You will drive uptime, customer SLAs, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with regional operations teams and vendors.

Key responsibilities include budgeting, reporting, risk management, and escalation for critical events. You will shape strategy, improve performance, and ensure safe, secure and efficient data centre services for high-profile clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in critical facilities
• 5+ years directly managing employees
• Procurement and contract negotiation experience
• Leadership & communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of data centre operations including 24x7 uptime and SLA compliance
• Provides technical advice to site teams to ensure efficient operations
• Reports on operational strategy improvements and availability
• Escalation contact for emergencies—technical, operational and security
• Manages third-party vendors, including SLAs and contracts
• Ensures internal audits of SOPs, MOPs, and compliance with standards
• Oversees change management and documentation required by law
• Maintains regulatory compliance and environmental, safety, and building standards
• Manages OPEX/CAPEX budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Presents business cases to management and tracks KPIs
