Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide Agile teams in delivering high‑quality software solutions in Malaysia. The role focuses on facilitating ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.

You will partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness, coach teams on Scrum and Kanban practices, and track performance metrics, helping the organization achieve timely, predictable delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Agile project delivery.
• Strong Scrum, Kanban, and Agile principles understanding.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions.
• Help the team identify and remove blockers.
• Coach team members on Agile principles and best practices.
• Track and report on team performance metrics.
• Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.
• Work with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness.
• Promote continuous improvement through feedback and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to Agile frameworks and delivery timelines.
