About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a SCM Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee order planning and supply chain operations, driving efficiency and contributing to the continued success and growth of Bossard.

Lead the order management team and in charge on forecast planning

Responsible on reviewing customer forecast and lead the inventory management team

A main contact role is dealing with customers on forecast management related

Manage procurement, supplier coordination, and material planning to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Optimize inventory levels (Optimize inventory turns) and streamline supply chain operations to support business goals.

Oversees product quality and ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.

Supervise and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), including audits and corrective actions in the business.

Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in quality and delivery.

Lead and support the team in daily operations, ensuring smooth processes and proper documentation.

Collaborate with internal departments to align supply chain and quality efforts with customer needs.

Develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs across supply and quality functions.

Manages and assesses staff performance

Initiate and identify cost savings opportunities and projects, support for all sourcing activities for all direct and indirect parts and services.

Implement sourcing plans with goal of assuring specified quality, required delivery times and minimizing the total cost.

Review supplier’s processes and identify improvement opportunities in processes and systems at supplier locations to improve quality, cost and flow of supplied materials throughout the entire supply chain.

Evaluate current and prospective suppliers through supplier prequalification review, site visits, audit, in coordination with QA and Engineering to resolve vendors’ discrepancies and quality issues.

Monitor and track suppliers’ performance, ensure on-time delivery and meet

What we are looking for

Substantial experience (>10+ years) in a senior planning or operations management role, preferably within the Supply Chain/manufacturing

Must have experience dealing with customer experience, holding an SCM role (planning and managing suppliers)

WH experiences would be an advantage

Must have leading role with exposure to at least a small team reporting to her

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise production and supply chain operations

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably D365) and data analysis tools to support informed decision-making.

Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field

Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement
