Advanced Electronic Materials (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd – Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah
Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and vendor performance evaluation.
Plan and coordinate material requirements to support CNC machining production schedules.
Monitor inventory levels and establish appropriate stock policies to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Sales, and Quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
Analyze demand forecasts and develop material planning strategies.
Oversee warehouse and logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness, and cost competitiveness.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and supply chain best practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Prepare regular reports on inventory, procurement, supplier performance, and supply chain KPIs.
Lead, coach, and develop the SCM team to achieve departmental objectives.
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5–8 years of supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within CNC machining, precision engineering, metal fabrication, or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, production planning, warehouse operations, and logistics.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or equivalent).
Good understanding of CNC machining processes, raw materials, cutting tools, and manufacturing workflows.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
