Job summary

LEAPING GIBBON SDN. BHD. seeks a General Worker to maintain the school garden, plants, trees and lawns in Ipoh. You will cut grass, prune, water and fertilise, keeping the grounds clean, tidy and safe for students and staff.

Able to perform outdoor/manual work, with experience in gardening or maintenance seen as an advantage. Cantonese/Mandarin communication helps; driving license is a bonus. Join a newly established kindergarten emphasizing Finnish pedagogy in Ipoh city centre.

Qualifications

• Physically fit for outdoor manual work.
• Experience in gardening, landscaping or maintenance is an advantage.
• Reliable, hardworking, honest and punctual.
• Able to communicate in Cantonese/Mandarin helps communication with management and suppliers.
• Own driving license is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for the school garden, plants, trees and lawns.
• Perform grass cutting, pruning, watering and fertilising activities.
• Ensure the school compound is clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Carry out general maintenance works and minor repairs when required.
• Clean leaves, remove weeds and dispose of garden waste appropriately.
• Ensure gardening tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.
