Job summary

Dynac Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Planner in Malaysia to develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project. You will monitor progress, coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication and site teams, and prepare regular progress reports to support on-time delivery.

The role requires 2–5 years in project planning within HVAC, M&E, EPCC or Oil & Gas, with strong knowledge of scheduling, progress measurement, and workfront planning.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in project planning, preferably in HVAC, M&E, EPCC, or Oil & Gas projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, progress measurement, and workfront planning.
• Knowledge of fabrication, installation sequencing, M&E works, HVAC systems, and workpack planning (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain the project schedule using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Monitor project progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Track workfront availability, manpower utilisation, and installation readiness.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site teams to capture real-time progress.
• Analyse schedule variances, identify delays, and propose mitigation actions.
• Prepare detailed look-ahead schedules (1-week, 2-week, 4-week).
• Assist in planning resources, materials, and sequencing to support project execution.
• Maintain baseline schedules, revisions, and progress records for documentation.
• Support Project Manager in progress presentations, client reporting, and planning meetings.
• Perform any additional tasks or assignments as instructed by the superior or management.
