WORKING LOCATION:
- Inspect newly erected scaffolding and conduct re-inspections in accordance with applicable international scaffolding standards.
- Place the Green Tag after inspection to confirm that the scaffolding is safe for use.
- Prepare scaffold inspection checklists, handover documents, and submit them to the client for approval.
- Inspect all scaffolding materials for new projects, prepare the necessary checklists, and submit them to the client for verification.
- Conduct regular site walkabouts and prepare findings reports for any non-conformities or unsafe conditions identified.
- Provide recommendations and guidance to the project team to ensure findings are rectified promptly.
- Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times and comply with all applicable safety rules and regulations.
- Assist and guide supervisors on scaffolding erection methodologies and related requirements.
- Conduct re-inspections of scaffolding after modifications, alterations, or adverse weather conditions.
- Attend all relevant meetings and conduct daily toolbox meetings in the absence of the Project Coordinator.
- Prepare and submit monthly BS, SHBR, PPE Checklist, and KPI reports within the required timeframe.
- Comply with all Company Policies, including QMS, SQMS, EMS, OSH, ABMS, SOPs, departmental procedures, goals, objectives, and KPIs.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and in accordance with the Company's SHE Policy, Procedures, Standards, Legal Requirements, and Management Instructions.
- Prioritize Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) awareness in all daily activities.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior, HOD, or Branch Manager.
QUALIFICATION:
- Good knowledge of scaffolding.
- Awareness of ISO processes.
- Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry is a must.
- Good knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
- Candidates should possess a minimum Intermediate or Advanced Level Competency and be registered under DOSH.
- For Intermediate Holders, must possess a Scaffold Inspection Certificate.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel).
- Good communication and negotiation skills and a high level of integrity.
- Full competence in project collation, communication, and reporting.
- Organized approach and able to work under pressure.
- Leadership qualities.
