Job summary
Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced SAP MDG Developer / Technical Consultant to maintain SAP MDG modules, ensuring high performance and reliability from a technical viewpoint.
You will design, develop, and implement SAP MDG solutions, participate in end-to-end software lifecycle activities, translate complex requirements to the technical team, and troubleshoot issues with minimal business disruption.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of SAP ABAP experience within SAP MDG implementation or support.
- At least 1 full cycle end-to-end SAP MDG implementation project on a regional or global basis.
- Exposure to ABAP OO programming is a plus.
- Exposure to Web Dynpro UI is a plus.
- Exposure to SAP MDG - C with basic to mid level business process understanding; hands-on developer role.
- Exposure to SAP HANA is a plus (ECC with HANA).
Responsibilities
- Maintain SAP MDG development for optimum performance and reliability.
- Design, develop, and implement SAP MDG solutions.
- If required, participate in end-to-end SDLC activities including design, code reviews, testing, and post-deployment support.

- To maintain SAP MDG development to ensure optimum performance and reliability of the SAP MDG module at all time (from technical perspective).
- To design, develop, and implement feasible SAP MDG solution.
- If required ; to be involved in end to end software development lifecycle activities, including design, code reviews, testing, and post-deployment support (from technical perspective).
- To develop technical specifications based on business & functional requirements.
- To translate complex technical requirements & provide advice to business analysts / functional consultants.
- To troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
about the manager/team
The role is a SAP MDG developer / technical consultant role where you will be working with other technical, functional consultant, business analyst and project manager on a support & project implementation role of SAP MDG (if any).
about requirements:
- Someone who has at least 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP within SAP MDG implementation project and/or support (L2 / L3) is an added but not compulsary.
- Someone with at least 1 full cycle end-to-end SAP MDG implementation projects on a regional or global basis is an added but not compulsary.
- Those with exposure in this ABAP language ; object-oriented programming (OO) is an added but not compulsary.
- Those with exposure in Web Dynpro (User Interface side) is an added but not compulsary.
- Those with exposure in SAP MDG - C (Customer side) with minimal or mid level business process understanding is an added but not compulsary (this is a technical developer role, not a technofunctional / functional role).
- Those with exposure in SAP HANA is is an added but not compulsary (the client is on ECC with HANA database).
