Job summary

Tan Chong Group in Malaysia is seeking a Training Specialist to stay informed about vehicle features, market trends, and best practices, and to deliver high-quality training to the sales team. You will manage the e-Learning platform, develop content, promote adoption, coordinate the Certified Nissan Professional Program, and measure training effectiveness with Gemba evaluations.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Chinese Language preferable.
• Previous experience in sales training or automotive sales required.
• Experience in designing and delivering training programs is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of automotive products and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Stay informed about latest features, specifications, and innovations to provide comprehensive product knowledge training to the sales team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and sales best practices to enhance training content and methodologies.
• Collaborate with the Training Manager to create, improve, and maintain training programs to meet evolving needs of the sales team.
• Facilitate and support delivery of training sessions to ensure high-quality training for sales team members.
• Manage the e‑Learning platform, including content development and updates, promoting e‑learning adoption, and tracking progress.
• Coordinate and manage the annual Certified Nissan Professional Program to ensure certification standards are met by sales professionals.
• Assist in evaluating training effectiveness through Gemba evaluation and provide insights for improvement.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Business, Education, or Automotive Management) is preferred
• Proficiency in Chinese Language (reading & writing) is preferable
• Previous experience (1-2 years) in sales training or automotive sales is required
• Experience in designing and delivering trainng programs is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of automotive products and industry trends
