Job summary

Sin Lian Tat Hardware Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a counter sales professional to attend to walk-in customers, respond to sales inquiries, and recommend suitable products. The role supports order preparation, quotations, and coordination with the warehouse and delivery teams.

The ideal candidate has basic computer skills, good communication, and the ability to work independently or within a team. Training and career development are provided to grow within the sales function.

Qualifications

• Minimum education = SPM or Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in counter sales, customer service, or sales coordination is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Attend to walk-in customers and handle sales enquiries.
• Recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
• Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, and related documents.
• Coordinate customer orders with the warehouse and delivery team.
• Follow up with customers on orders, payments, and deliveries.
• Maintain good relationships with new and existing customers.
• Update sales records and perform general administrative duties.
• Support the sales team with daily operations when required.
