Job summary

Sime Darby Industrial (SDI) is seeking a sales professional to drive revenue in the Kuantan region. You will systematically plan sales coverage, schedule customer calls, and promote campaigns for heavy equipment, rentals, and parts services. Proficiency with MS Office and CRM is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Open to candidates from Kuantan and Kota Bharu with 2–5 years of experience. Role involves coordinating service quotations, sharing market insights, and assisting in collections.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma in any field.
• 2–5 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in IT with good MS Office knowledge.
• Mandarin language skills are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Systematically plan sales coverage activities for the assigned customer at the designated territory.
• Plan customer calls and ensure adequate coverage as per PAR.
• Promote SDI heavy equipment, rentals, used/new machines and Parts & Services campaigns.
• Coordinate on service quotations and repairs with the service department.
• Provide market information and updates on customer and market changes.

Promote Sime Darby Industrial (SDI) (Heavy equipment, Rental, Used, New Machine) and After Sales Solution (Parts & Services) to generate revenue and profit.

Systematically plan for sales coverage activities for the assigned customer at the designated territory. All sales related activities are to be registered in SalesLink CRM on regular basis (daily or weekly).

Plan customer calls and ensure coverage is adequate as per PAR (required calls per year).

Responsible for promoting the SDI (Heavy equipment, Rental, Used, New Machine) and Parts and Services Merchandising Program such as CSA and SOS with the results and recommendation for each program promptly presented to customers.

Promote any parts sales and service sales campaign launched by the SDI and ensure all customers are aware and understand the benefits of these campaigns.

Coordinate on service quotations and repair with service department.

Provide and share competitive market information as well as updates on changes in customer and market situation.

Assist to collections for payment.

Job Requirements:

SPM or Diploma in any field.

At least 2 - 5 year of working experience in the same field will be qualified, similar experience from heavy equipment industry will be an added advantage.

Open to candidates from Kuantan/Kota Bharu as well.

Must be proficient in IT with good command of Microsoft Office programs.

Possess good interpersonal communication skills and analytical thinking in addition to positive aptitude and attitude.

Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin is an added advantage as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.

Ability to effectively use and maintain office equipment.
