Job summary

Max Star Builders Sdn Bhd, based in Penang, is seeking a Sales Interior Designer for a hybrid role blending interior design and client-facing sales. You will engage with clients from enquiry and design consultation through quotation, project confirmation and coordination with our operations team.

The position involves design concept development, mood boards, 2D layouts, 3D visualisations and presenting proposals while coordinating with the project team.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architectural Design or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1–3 years of interior design, renovation or sales experience would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering software, Photoshop or similar design software.
• Good knowledge of residential renovation, materials, finishes and basic construction.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident in presenting design concepts to clients.
• Willing to meet clients and conduct site visits.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for client meetings/site visits.

Responsibilities

• Interior Design & Design Consultation with clients.
• Prepare mood boards, space planning, material selections and design concepts.
• Create 2D layouts and 3D visualisations for client presentations.
• Provide renovation solutions within budget and coordinate design revisions.
• Attend client meetings and site visits; present proposals and quotations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Design teams for smooth project handover.
