Job summary

Eco Group in Georgetown Penang seeks a Sales Interior Designer to promote furniture and interior solutions, provide design consultation, and drive customer engagement from inquiry to delivery.

You will follow up leads, build strong client relationships to hit monthly targets, prepare quotations and proposals, coordinate orders and site visits, and support showroom operations across Malaysia when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in construction, furniture, or interior design industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Willing to travel, work weekends and public holidays when required.

Sales Interior Designer - Georgetown Penang

The Sales Designer is responsible for promoting and selling the Company’s furniture and interior solutions while providing professional design consultation to customers. The role involves customer engagement, lead generation, sales target achievement, and coordinating projects from inquiry to delivery.

Job Description

Proactively engage with potential and existing customers to promote products and services.

Follow up on company-provided leads, walk-ins, online inquiries, referrals, and showroom visitors.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to achieve monthly sales targets.

Recommend suitable furniture and interior solutions based on customer needs, preferences, and budgets.

Prepare quotations, proposals, and basic design recommendations.

Coordinate customer orders, delivery arrangements, and project follow-ups.

Promote ongoing campaigns, packages, and special promotions effectively.

Attend site visits, customer meetings, and support outlet operations across Malaysia when required.

Maintain proper records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, Marketing, or related field.

Minimum 1 years of sales experience in the construction, furniture, or interior design industry.

Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

Passionate about sales, furniture, and interior design solutions.

Able to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp is an added advantage.

Willing to travel, work weekends, and public holidays when required.
