Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Malaysia (Penang) seeks an experienced Order Management professional to reconcile and audit customer bookings, review POs, and accurately enter orders in Oracle ERP.

You will collaborate with Finance, Planning, Manufacturing, and Shipping to ensure SLA adherence and timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders. The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 6–8 years in a complex order management environment, strong knowledge of revenue recognition rules and Incoterms, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6–8 years in a complex Order Management environment.
• Solid understanding of Revenue Recognition Rules and Incoterms.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English).
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with Oracle ERP and Salesforce.com (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and audit customer booking packages in accordance with Global Booking Policy, SOX, and Revenue Recognition Policies.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Accurately enter and book orders (including service contracts) in the global Oracle ERP System.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Planning, Manufacturing, and Shipping to ensure all terms and conditions are met.
• Maintain effective communication with Sales, Customers, and Internal stakeholders to resolve booking and customer satisfaction issues.
• Ensure bookings meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Provide timely order status updates and tracking information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with Key Account Sales and Service Engineers to support complex customer needs, particularly around scheduling.
• Interpret and apply Incoterms for both domestic and international bookings.
• Proactively manage backlog issues including: Order holds, Scheduling Date Changes.
• Support month-end and quarter-end activities to help meet revenue targets.
• Participate in departmental projects aligned with corporate objectives.
• Coordinate and communicate shipping details effectively with customers.

Working Conditions

• This role is on hybrid mode (3 days onsite)
