Job summary

H.S.S. CONFECTIONERY FOODSTUFF SDN. BHD. is seeking a diligent Merchandiser in Johor Bahru to ensure proper shelf labeling, FIFO compliance, and timely reporting. You will visit assigned stores, replenish stock, take photos, and submit the daily checklist via WhatsApp, helping maintain store standards and accurate stock levels.

You will also provide feedback on stock, labels, and competitor activity, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow FIFO and label products accurately.
• Take before/after shelf photos and report with evidence.
• Submit daily Merchandiser Checklist via WhatsApp before 10:00 PM.
• Visit stores regularly according to the schedule (A/B/C).
• Replenish stock when shelves are out of stock and fill order forms promptly.

Job description

1. Arrange company products neatly, cleanly, and with proper labeling on shelves in assigned retail stores, following company merchandising guidelines.

2. Strictly follow the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) principle and promptly remove expired or soon-to-expire products.

3. Take “before” and “after” shelf photos for each store visit and upload them to the designated WhatsApp group on the same day.

4. Visit assigned stores regularly based on the A/B/C frequency schedule provided by the company to ensure full coverage.

5. Complete the daily Merchandiser Checklist and submit it before 10:00 PM via the designated WhatsApp reporting group.

6. When shelves are out of stock, replenish the products and fill in the order form immediately.

7. Monitor stock conditions and promptly report any slow-moving or overstocked items to the supervisor.

8. Collect store feedback and report abnormalities such as product rejection, incorrect labels, or competitor activities, with photo evidence.

9. Possess basic communication skills and be able to use a smartphone to take photos and submit reports.

10. To undertake any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Company.
