We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our sales team and drive the growth of our FMCG food brands in the Malaysian market. This is a hands-on management position requiring strong knowledge of the FMCG market, particularly supermarkets, wholesalers, distributors, traditional trade and retail channels.
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve company sales and growth targets.
Lead, manage, coach and monitor the sales team to ensure individual and team KPIs are achieved.
Set sales targets and regularly review sales performance, outlet coverage, new account development and market penetration.
Develop new business opportunities and expand distribution into supermarkets, wholesalers, retailers, minimarkets and other relevant channels.
Manage and strengthen relationships with key customers and business partners.
Negotiate listings, promotions, pricing, displays and other commercial arrangements with customers.
Plan and execute monthly and seasonal trade promotions to improve sales and brand visibility.
Work closely with management on pricing strategies, promotional plans, trade offers and new product launches.
Monitor competitor activities, market pricing, promotions and consumer trends.
Conduct regular market visits to ensure good product availability, merchandising, pricing and sales execution.
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably within the FMCG or food distribution industry.
Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial sales role is strongly preferred.
Good understanding of Malaysia's FMCG retail, wholesale and traditional trade channels.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business.
Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
Commercially minded with good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Able to work independently and take ownership of sales performance.
Willing to travel for customer meetings and market visits.
