Job summary

Ridge Biomed Sdn Bhd, a dynamic healthcare & biomedical solutions distributor, seeks a Head of Business Development in Malaysia to lead sales and marketing functions and drive the company’s targets. You will coordinate quotations, proposals and tenders, and expand our network with universities, laboratories and researchers.

You will operate under tight deadlines, travel as needed, and collaborate with Sales, Service and Operations to shape strategic growth aligned with the company direction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, preferably in a related industry.
• Advanced Diploma or Degree in Medical, Biomedical, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology or related science.
• Able to work under tight deadlines with strong problem-solving and independent work.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; willing to travel; owns car.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sales of the company’s products.
• Prepare Quotations, Proposals, Tenders and Reports within required timeframes.
• Actively participate in the Department’s strategic planning in relation to the company’s direction.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, Operations and Management in a team-driven growth environment.

To support the functions and duties of the Head of Business Development

To execute Sales and Marketing functions towards achieving the Company’s Sales Targets.

To be responsible on end-to-end sales of the Company’s products.

To prepare Quotations, Proposals, Tenders and Reports within the required timeframe.

To actively participate in the Department’s strategic planning activities in relation to the overall company’s direction.

Job Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the Sales and Marketing field, preferably within a related industry.

Candidate must possess at least an Advanced Diploma/Degree in Medical, Biomedical, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology or any Science course related

Able to work under tight deadline, meticulous, proactive, multitasking in a fast-pace environment, has a sense of responsibility, excellent problem-solving skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision;

Possess good interpersonal and communication skills with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to work closely with other members of the organization.

Posses own car and willing to travel

Valid License Class D
