Job summary

remotepeople is seeking a Sales Manager in Malaysia to grow the video conferencing and remote education markets in Malaysia and the SEA region. You will lead sales efforts, develop plans, and build strong customer relationships to achieve targets.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or higher, 3+ years of sales experience in video conferencing or related industries, strong English (Mandarin a plus), and proven market analysis and team leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above; majors in marketing, international trade or related fields preferred.
• 3+ years of sales experience in video conferencing, remote education or related industries; experience with leading AV brands preferred.
• Good English communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong market analysis and marketing planning skills; ability to develop sales plans independently.
• Good team management skills and team spirit; ability to lead a team to achieve sales targets.

With more than 15 years of experience in audio-visual technology, the company serves brand partners, system integrators, distributors and end users across government, education and enterprise sectors.

Now we are looking for a Sales Manager in Malaysia to grow the video conferencing and remote education markets in Malaysia and SEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop video conferencing and remote education markets; formulate and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and deliver high-quality sales service.
• Analyse market demand and the competitive landscape, and develop effective marketing and promotion strategies.
• Manage and train the sales team, ensuring team members meet performance requirements.
• Contribute to product pricing strategy and sales policy to strengthen the product's market competitiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; majors in marketing, international trade or related fields preferred.
• Solid understanding of the video conferencing and remote education markets in the local country and neighbouring Southeast Asian countries, with 3+ years of sales experience in video conferencing, remote education or related industries. Sales experience with leading audio-visual (AV) or video conferencing brands is preferred.
• Good English communication skills, with the ability to conduct business negotiations fluently; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong market analysis and marketing planning skills, with the ability to independently develop sales plans.
• Good team management skills and team spirit, with the ability to lead a team to achieve sales targets.
