SGB-SMIT Group seeks a dynamic Sales Manager to drive domestic sales in Malaysia and spearhead market development for power and distribution transformers. You will manage orders, forecasts, and monthly targets while coordinating projects from order to invoicing.

Ideal candidates bring several years in technical sales within the Asian market, strong knowledge of transformers, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP. Join a global technology leader and contribute to energy infrastructure growth.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Business Management or comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in technical sales, ideally as Sales Manager or Assistant Sales Manager in the Asian market.
• Solid knowledge of power and/or distribution transformers and experience in project-based sales.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced with SAP systems.

Aufgaben

• Responsible for sales management in the domestic market (Malaysia), including order intake, sales forecasting, and achieving monthly and annual targets.
• Active market development and business growth through agents, consultants, contractors, and end users within the power and distribution transformer sector.
• Preparation of high-quality commercial offers in line with internal guidelines and maintenance of the sales pipeline.
• Project coordination from order receipt to invoicing, including kick-off meetings, site visits, and alignment of technical and commercial requirements.
• Close customer interaction and project coordination (schedule, budget, changes) with internal Engineering, Controlling, and Finance departments.
• Regular sales reporting and forecasting to Head of Sales to ensure company objectives.

Your tasks:

• Close customer interaction and project coordination (schedule, budget, changes) in collaboration with internal departments such as Engineering, Controlling, and Finance
• Regular sales reporting and forecasting to the Head of Sales to ensure achievement of company objectives

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Business Management, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in technical sales, ideally as a Sales Manager or Assistant Sales Manager within the Asian market
• Solid knowledge of power and/or distribution transformers and experience in project-based sales
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and experienced with SAP systems
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills in an intercultural business environment
• Structured and self-driven working style with strong decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills
