Job summary

ABSOLUTE PROTECH SPORTS (M) SDN BHD is expanding its sales team in Shah Alam and seeks a driven sales professional to develop dealers and accounts across assigned markets.

You will visit dealers regularly to build relationships, promote PROTECH badminton, pickleball, footwear, apparel and accessories, and identify new opportunities with shops, clubs, academies, coaches and corporate customers. You will aim to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience preferred, especially in sporting goods, FMCG, retail, distribution or dealer sales.
• Confident meeting customers face-to-face and developing new accounts.
• Able to negotiate and close sales and willing to travel for customer visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Results-driven with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple leads and opportunities.

Key responsibilities

Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipelines and weekly sales reports.

What we’re looking for

Previous sales experience is preferred, especially in sporting goods, FMCG, retail, distribution or dealer sales.

The candidate should be confident meeting customers face-to-face, comfortable developing new accounts, able to negotiate and close sales, and willing to travel for customer visits.

A genuine interest in badminton, pickleball or sports is a strong advantage. Candidates should have their own transport and a valid driving licence.

Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the sports industry or a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

Results-driven mindset with the ability to work towards and exceed sales targets

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously

Ability to work independently whilst also thriving in a team environment

Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to handle objections professionally
