Job summary

Wipro Unza (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales Executive to manage and expand the General Trade distributor business across Johor, including Johor Bahru and Batu Pahat. The role requires 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG/consumer goods, with strong skills in planning, forecasting, and distributor operations.

You will drive primary and secondary sales targets, prepare monthly plans, monitor performance, and align activities with the company’s AOP.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience at executive level or above.
• Experience managing General Trade / distributor businesses preferred.
• Strong sales planning, forecasting, and distributor operations understanding.
• Good relationship and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Executive to manage and grow our General Trade (GT) Distributor business across the Johor region, including Johor Bahru and Batu Pahat.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall GT Distributor business across the assigned Johor territory.
• Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies and area budgets.
• Drive achievement of primary and secondary sales targets.
• Prepare monthly sales plans, forecasts and performance reviews.
• Monitor sales data and align plans with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Track competitor activities and develop proactive plans to respond to market developments and new entrants.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor and motivate team members to drive sales performance, business generation and monthly activity targets.
• Analyze market and sales performance to identify opportunities and address challenges.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience at Executive level or above, preferably within FMCG / Consumer Goods.
• Experience managing General Trade / Distributor business is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of sales planning, forecasting, target management and distributor operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good relationship management and interpersonal skills.
• Good team management and people leadership capabilities.
• Candidates with experience covering the Johor market are preferred.
• Willingness to be based in or travel extensively across Johor Bahru and Batu Pahat.
