in Penang's Nibong Tebal area is seeking a sales-focused professional to handle and follow up on sales enquiries from existing and assigned customers, building strong relationships for long-term partnerships. You will coordinate with Engineering, Production, Planning, Purchasing and Quality teams to review technical requirements, prepare quotations, track orders, and ensure timely delivery, while visiting customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in sheet metal fabrication, metal stamping, precision machining or related industries.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and customer specifications.
• Familiarity with industry standards, product specifications, and customer requirements within the fabrication or engineering environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering concepts is preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel for customer meetings or visits when required.
• Willing to work at Nibong Tebal, Penang

Responsibilities

• Handle and follow up on sales enquiries from existing and assigned customers.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
• Understand and review customers' technical requirements, drawings, specifications and product requirements.
• Coordinate with the Engineering, Production, Planning, Purchasing and Quality departments to evaluate customer enquiries and requirements.
• Prepare quotations, cost information and commercial proposals based on customer requirements and internal costing.
• Follow up on quotations, customer feedback and order status.
• Communicate customer requirements clearly to relevant internal departments and ensure proper coordination throughout the project.
• Coordinate and follow up on new projects, samples, prototypes and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
• Monitor project progress, production status and delivery schedules to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
• Handle customer enquiries, requests, feedback and complaints professionally and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution.
• Conduct customer visits, meetings and technical discussions when required.
• Support customers by providing product, technical and manufacturing-related information.
• Coordinate changes in customer requirements, drawings, specifications or delivery schedules with the relevant internal departments.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, quotations, orders and project status.
• Prepare regular sales and customer reports for Management.

Job Requirements

Able to communicate effectively with customers and internal departments.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple customer enquiries and projects simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Willing to travel for customer meetings or visits when required.
