Job summary

Sato Seiki (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a dynamic engineer with CNC tooling knowledge to drive tooling solutions and sales opportunities across automotive, aerospace and related sectors. You will read engineering drawings, propose tooling concepts, and support customers from quote to delivery.

Ideal candidates have SPM or Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 1 year in sales with cutting tools, own transport, and fluent English and Malay (Mandarin a plus).

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent in working experience.
• Preferably 1 year of sales experience with cutting tools or related industry.
• Own transport and ability to travel as needed.
• Fluent in English and Malay; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings and advise on tooling requirements.
• Identify new business opportunities across target sectors.
• Support production managers and machinists to drive tooling improvements.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships with proactive visits.
• Develop effective sales strategies with account leads.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by team lead.

• -To play a crucial role in the precision manufacturing industry in Malaysia, by offering rapid turnaround time support in reading engineering drawings, understanding precision measuring dimensions, and advising on the tooling required for each project. -Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in Automotive, Aerospace, Agriculture, Building & Construction, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Medical, Marine, Electrical, Optical, Jewelry &, etc.
• -Supporting production line managers or machinists in identifying opportunities to drive continuous tooling improvement.
• -Maintaining the retention of the existing client base through proactive customer visits and customer relationship management.
• -Optimizing customers tooling concepts through proposing innovative mechanical tooling solutions.
• -Developing effective sales strategies with account leads to increase the overall sales performance for each quarter.
• -Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by team lead. Minimum SPM or Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering At least 1 year of Sales Experience preferably with Cutting Tools or closely related industry, possess own transport, salary will commensurate with experience

Job Requirements

• -Candidate should possess an SPM or equivalent in working experience.
• -Preferably at least 1 year of related working experience with Cutting Tools. (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• -A full-time position is available in Selangor, Penang & Johor.
• -Possess own transport.
• -Fluent in English, Malay language (Mandarin is a plus)

*Ideally have had some experience with CNC Milling, CNC Turning, and manual machining. However, any candidate will be considered as long you have the willingness to learn in areas you are not familiar with.
