Job summary

Ideatect Concept is seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to drive new business in the construction and interior design space. You will contact customers designated by Marketing, arrange site visits, and present compelling proposals and quotations.

You will work with designers and the technical team to tailor plans and 3D drawings, while maintaining detailed sales records and the pipeline. You will support the Sales Manager to expand the distributor network and ensure on-time handover and payment

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the construction industry, to contact customers assigned by the Marketing Team.
• Engage with potential clients for renovation and interior design services business (Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Melaka) to understand their needs and requirements, to arrange appointments and conduct site visits to customers’ house.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase our products and services, detailed quotations based on the agreed specifications at a right time to a right customer and respond promptly to all customer inquiries.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the technical team to provide expert advice and support to clients, liaise with the designer and provide necessary information during the preparation of plans and 3D drawings.
• Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and pipeline, to monitor, track, update and record each customer’s progress, including follow-ups, site visits, quotation and etc.
• Accountable assisting the Manager, Sales in building and managing the sales force and distribution network capable of marketing to grow sales and hit high volume targets.
• Ensure each project is completed successfully and in accordance with the contract before the final handover to the customer and also follow-up and monitoring of customer payment status
• Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives, also participate in social media content creation for marketing purposes (project handover & customer interviews)
