Job summary

Panasonic Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Sales/BD professional in Johor Bahru to manage projects from specification to completion, engaging with consultants, contractors, developers, and other stakeholders.

You will visit approximately 25 M&E consulting firms and key developers across industrial and commercial sectors, provide technical support, and collaborate with the sales team to secure orders and achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/PG/Professional degree required.
• Sales/BD experience preferred.
• Air-Conditioning sector experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, independent and results-driven.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to analyze data and prepare sales reports.
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin/Cantonese an asset.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on and manage projects from specification to completion with stakeholders.
• Conduct regular customer visits with ~25 M&E consulting firms and key developers/architects.
• Provide technical support for specification activities, system design, CAD drawings, CAC software calculations, and quotations.
• Work with the sales team to convert projects into orders and contribute to sales targets.
• Take ownership of projects and drive them to award, order conversion and closure.

Job description

Follow up on and manage assigned projects from the specification stage through to project completion, maintaining close engagement with consultants, contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders at the Johor Bahru branch level.

Conduct regular customer visits and relationship-building activities with approximately 25 M&E consulting firms in Johor Bahru, as well as key developers, architects, end users, and customers across the industrial and commercial sectors.

Provide technical support for specification activities, system design, CAD drawings, CAC software calculations, and quotation preparation.

Work closely with the sales team and contractors to convert specified projects into secured orders and contribute to the achievement of sales targets.

Take full ownership of specified projects and proactively drive them through to successful project award, order conversion, and project closure.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field.

Preferably executives specializing in Sales/Business Development or equivalent.

Working experiences in Air-Conditioning sector will be an added advantage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, follow-up and negotiate effectively.

Possess good analytical & problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated with ability to work independently and result-driven approach.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to analyse data and prepare sales reports.

Excellent command of English & Bahasa Malaysia (both verbal and written). Mandarin and Cantonese language will be an added advantage.
