Job summary

PBA Group in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales & marketing initiatives, engage new customers, and maintain relationships with existing accounts to generate revenue for the Precision Robotics Business Group.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of automation sales experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with English and Mandarin proficiency considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Provide customer feedback to Business Group management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Sales Engineer is mainly responsible for executing sales & marketing initiatives, engaging new customers and maintaining the relationship with existing accounts in order to bring in revenue for the Precision Robotics Business Group.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify key customers and build network towards Industrial Automation & Component related fields.
• Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, through prompt updating of opportunities management tracking and account development planning.
• Develop new customer accounts through sales and marketing activities.
• Supporting any marketing related activities to improve the presence and customer knowledge of PBA’s Products.
• Providing customer feedback to Business Group management.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

People Requirements

• 2 years of sales experience in automation field, preferable with motion knowledge.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proven ability to interact directly with a sales organization, understand customer needs and influence them.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin will be an added advantage for effective communication with our diverse client base.
• Self-motivated and maintain high level of Sales Discipline.
• Possesses own transport and willing to travel.
