Job summary

IKEA Malaysia is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to join our Home Furnishing team on a part-time basis. You will provide excellent service, assist customers, and maintain eye-catching displays in line with IKEA merchandising standards.

You'll work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to support store operations and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a passion for home furnishings, delivering a positive shopping experience.

About the job

Reporting to the Shopkeeper of the respective Home Furnishing department, the Sales Associate provides excellent sales service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring the IKEA basic merchandising standards are met to give customers a positive shopping experience.

Your assignment

• Ensuring high level of customers’ satisfaction by assessing customers’ needs, providing information and assistance when required.
• Ensuring your department is clean and tidy, with items properly displayed, priced and fully stocked.
• Actively steering top selling and prioritized products to maximize sales.
