Job summary

OCBC in Malaysia is seeking a data analytics professional to support daily sales performance reporting and ad-hoc management information requests for regional markets. The role involves understanding processes, documenting changes for audit compliance, and assisting with data analysis and forecasting across various sales channels.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma in a quantitative field with 1-2 years of related experience and strong skills in SAS, SQL, Python, Excel, and data warehousing.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a quantitative discipline with 1-2 years of experience.
• Strong technical skills in SAS, Excel, Access, SQL, VBA, Python.
• Data warehousing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely support for daily sales performance reporting and ad-hoc MI requests for sales planning/forecasting across OCBC markets.
• Identify key operational risks by understanding processes.
• Document procedure changes to ensure audit compliance.
• Assist with day-to-day Sales Performance activities for OCBC markets.
• Assist with data analysis, validation and feature engineering for raw data sets.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing when required.
• Analyze performance data to generate insights for senior management.
• Develop forecasting models using predictive analytics for sales across channels.
