Job summary

YLH WHOLESALE in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Admin cum Storekeeper to manage customer orders via WhatsApp, coordinate stock picking, and arrange delivery routes with drivers. The role includes cashier backup and general warehouse support within a bustling grocery wholesaler environment.

You will liaise with customers, verify deliveries, and maintain accurate records, with bilingual proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Able to speak and write Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Stock picking experience: 1 year (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales orders based on customer orders received through WhatsApp.
• Liaise with customers to confirm sales orders and respond to general enquiries.
• Coordinate stock picking with warehouse helpers to ensure correct products and quantities.
• Arrange delivery routes and drop-off points with lorry drivers for timely deliveries.
• Check and verify goods received for the store, including expiry dates and documents.
• Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to management.
• Maintain an organised filing system and ensure data accuracy.
• Act as a backup cashier when required.
• Support general warehouse operations, including receiving and handling stock.
• Prepare information, records or reports required by management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare sales orders based on customer orders received through WhatsApp
• Liaise with customers to confirm sales orders and respond to general enquiries
• Coordinate stock picking with warehouse helpers to ensure the correct products and quantities are prepared for the correct customers
• Arrange delivery routes and drop-off points with lorry drivers to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
• Check and verify goods received for the store, including product type, quantity, condition, expiry date and supporting delivery documents
• Conduct regular stock checks for store items and report any stock shortages, damages or discrepancies to management
• Maintain an organised filing system and ensure all data entries and records are accurate and up to date
• Act as a backup cashier when required
• Support general warehouse operations, including receiving, arranging, checking and handling stock
• Prepare and provide information, records or reports required by management

About you
