Job summary

PMB Pemborong Maju Bersatu Sdn Bhd is seeking a Safety Supervisor to ensure site safety and compliance. The role involves conducting safety inspections, toolbox talks, and PPE inductions, while training workers on proper safety procedures to prevent injuries.

Responsibilities include coordinating first aid, supporting fire safety, reviewing procedures, and assisting with Permit To Work and Job Hazard Analysis for non-routine tasks at the project site.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in OSH or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in safety supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist and carry out site inspection and improve any unsafe conditions / act and practices at the site.
• Conduct toolbox meeting, safety induction of PPE, equipment / tools and machinery, etc. According to the schedule set by the project safety team.
• Training and overseeing workers on safety procedures and practices to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Coordinating first aid treatment and medical evacuation in cases of serious injury or illness.
• Assist and adopt fire-fighting emergency response as floor warden in cases of emergency evacuation at site.
• Reviewing safety procedures and equipment to ensure that they are adequate for the task at hand.
• Preparing and assists on Permit To Work and Job Hazard Analysis for Non-Routine Activity on site.
• Assist of monthly safety inspection report fire extinguisher / site environment / scheduled waste and chemical storage.
• Conducting safety procedure of Chemical Storage Safety Data Sheet in chemical storage room and documentation.
• Perform any other duties as when required by superiors and Management.
