Job summary

REN Wellness Retreat, operated by ERMS Berhad in Malaysia, seeks an Security Officer to support daily security operations, monitor entry/exit, and conduct patrols with CCTV oversight. The role involves handling incidents, emergency responses and strict documentation, including logs and reports.

Willingness to work shifts, weekends or public holidays is required. Candidates should have a SPM certificate and at least 1 year of related experience, plus basic skills in Word/Excel and security

Qualifications

• SPM holder required.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience related to this role.
• Basic knowledge of security operations, access control, patrol and emergency procedures.
• Basic administrative, report writing and record-keeping skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Alert, disciplined and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Department in daily security operations, post duties, access control and maintaining site security.
• Control entry and exit of staff, visitors, contractors and vehicles.
• Conduct authorised body checks/personal searches in accordance with SOP.
• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter and designated areas. Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activities or security concerns.
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, fire emergencies, accidents and other emergencies. Assist with evacuation and emergency response activities as directed.
• Maintain daily security logs, patrol records, visitor records, checklists and incident reports.
• Assist with control and proper use of keys, access cards, two‑way radios, CCTV and other security equipment.
