Job summary

SPK ASAS SDN BHD is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to oversee safety, health and environmental programs at construction sites in Malaysia. The role requires promoting compliance with local regulations and OHSA standards, delivering safety training, and coordinating with authorities.

You will conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents, and ensure accurate reporting. Travel to project sites is expected as part of daily duties and site supervision responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Registered with JKKP/DOSH/NIOSH and Green Book holder.
• Experience in construction safety supervision and implementation.
• Competent with OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor safety, health and environment at the project site.
• Conduct safety meetings and prepare required reports on Health & Safety matters.
• Implement and conduct training and enforcement of all safety programs per OHSA act.
• Conduct risk and hazard analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all accidents are recorded, reported and investigated.
• Perform monthly safety inspections and submit the reports.
• Liaise with relevant authorities and attend meetings.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.

Job description

To ensure Health & Safety at project site are compliance with local regulatory act and safety policies.

Oversee and monitor safety, health and environment job related to the site.

To conduct safety meeting and to prepare necessary report on Health & Safety related matter on regular basic.

To implement and conduct training and enforcement of all safety programs as per OHSA act.

Conduct a risk and hazard analysis and take the necessary corrective action.

Ensure all accidents are properly recorded, reported and investigated.

Conduct monthly inspections and submit the required reports.

To liaise with relevant authorities and attend meetings.

Other task as assigned by the Project Manager from time to time.

Requirements

Applicant MUST be registered with JKKP / DOSH / NIOSH and is a Green Book holder.

Working experience in construction safety supervision and implementation.

Competent and well versed with OSHA regulations.

Willing to travel
