Job summary

Tiong Woon Crane & Transport Pte Ltd is seeking an HSE Supervisor in Malaysia to oversee safety inspections with DOSH, renewal of crane licenses with JKKP, CIDB card registrations, and ongoing site safety liaison. You will prepare monthly safety reports and incident documentation while coordinating third-party inspections for new sites.

The role involves organizing training, maintaining safety policies, conducting audits, and identifying hazards with risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental.
• Minimum 2 years of safety experience in crane rental, heavy lifting, construction or oil & gas / petrochemical sites.
• DOSH-registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO).
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Arrange DOSH inspections, appointments, crane registration, relocation, and annual reinspection.
• Renew crane operator licenses with JKKP.
• Register and renew CIDB Green Cards for employees.
• Liaise with site safety personnel on safety requirements and compliance.
• Prepare and update monthly safety reports based on manpower data.
• Submit incident reports for accidents or safety incidents at site.
• Coordinate third-party inspections for new project sites.
• Organize safety training sessions for employees on safety protocols.
• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and crane/site inspections.
• Identify hazards and assess risks, implementing mitigation measures.
• Undertake ad hoc tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Job description

Arrange Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia (DOSH) inspections, including appointment scheduling, new crane registration, crane relocation (crawler crane) and annual reinspection (mobile crane).

Arrange renewal of crane operator licenses with Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia (JKKP).

Register and renew Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) Green Cards for employees in compliance with site requirements.

Liaise and communicate with site safety personnel on safety requirements and compliance matters.

Prepare and update monthly safety reports based on manpower reports as required by HQ Safety.

Prepare and submit incident reports for any accidents or safety-related incidents at site.

Coordinate and arrange third-party inspections for new project sites.

Organize and conduct safety training sessions for employees, ensuring all personnel are knowledgeable about safety protocols.

Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of crane operations and work sites.

Identify hazards and assess risks, implementing appropriate mitigation measures.

Undertake any other ad hoc tasks as and when assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
