Qualifications

Job description
Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Executive

To ensure the Group of Company's safety practices comply with Malaysian safety legislation.

To assist the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Officer in investigating any accident, near-miss, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, or occupational disease within the company.

To assist the Management, SHE Officer, or safety and health committee (if any), pursuant to Malaysian safety legislation, including organizing and implementing occupational safety and health programmes, and assisting in the implementation of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).

To coordinate and maintain records of safety audits and trainings.

To assist any government regulatory body in carrying out its duties under the Act or any regulations made under the Act.

To conduct emergency response activities, including scheduling, training, and updating written programmes.

To coordinate with the SHE Officer to ensure proper operation of the Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) and scheduled waste management in compliance with legislation.

To coordinate with and support the SHE Officer in maintaining the Company’s safety policy.

To carry out any other instructions given by the employer or any person in charge of the workplace on matters pertaining to workplace safety and health.

To perform any other duties as assigned by the Company or Superior from time to time.

To implement and maintain QMS, in accordance to ISO 9001 / EN ISO 13485.

Qualifications and Academic Requirement

a) Degree in Occupational Safety and Health / Degree in Environmental Sciences and Technology / Degree of Environmental Health or equivalent.

b) Fresh graduate or 1 or 2 years’ experience.
