Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Company in Malaysia is seeking an IT delivery lead to establish new IT systems and oversee implementations for Malaysia and Singapore. You will coordinate with country leads and regional teams to rollout key applications, run tests, manage migrations, and ensure effective change management.

The role emphasizes localizing global IT solutions to market needs, maintaining smooth post go-live operations, and safeguarding data security and regulatory compliance.

• Review, migrate, or implement localized applications where needed.
• Maintain local apps post go-live and ensure stable IT operations.
• Collaborate to adapt IT functionalities to local market needs and ensure adoption.
• Ensure IT systems comply with market digital ecosystems and tax/data rules.

What you’ll be responsible for

• New IT system Establishment Project Implementation
• Work as IT delivery lead for MY & SG, support all IT & tech relevant activities for MY & SG
• Work closely with country lead, coordinate with global & region teams on key system rollout activities, incl testing, deployment, cutover, change mgt.; Lead the key activities, e.g. review, migration or implementation. of localized applications where global systems cannot fully address regional needs
• Manage local applications post go-live in IT business-as-usual
• Collaborate with regional and global core project teams to adapt IT functionalities to meet local market requirements, ensuring successful rollout and adoption
• Ensure IT systems comply with market’s unique digital ecosystem and regulatory requirements (e.g., data sovereignty, tax laws)
• IT Business Partner (ITBP)
• Playing the role as market IT to support MY and SG on all relevant daily IT operation, including: business engagement: partnering business to collect, raise business demand, system new or change requirement management; business activities IT support (campaign, sales, etc); local apps (non-global systems) operations management, new system demand analysis & implementation project management, etc.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to align IT initiatives with regional business objectives.
• Market IT liaison between local business and regional & global function IT teams, overseeing system updates, enhancements, and stable operations.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to system performance, data security, and compliance.
