Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an OSH Coordinator to oversee daily safety activities, inspections, and risk assessments at their Kedah site. You will monitor PPE usage, track corrective actions, and promote a culture of safety across departments.

The role requires 1–3 years in occupational safety and health, with knowledge of OSHA 1994 and HIRARC. Independent work and strong documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a recognized OSH Coordinator qualification or certificate.
• 1–3 years of working experience in occupational safety and health.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1994, HIRARC, workplace inspections and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily workplace safety activities.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
• Assist in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) and monitor control measures.
• Monitor employees' compliance with safety procedures and proper PPE use.
• Identify safety issues and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Promote a safe working environment and encourage compliance with safety requirements.
