Job summary

Kerisik Resources Sdn Bhd is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure compliance with OSHA 1994 and Malaysian safety regulations on construction sites. The role involves conducting safety inspections, HIRARC, and hazard identification, investigating incidents, delivering inductions and trainings, and ensuring PPE and contractor safety compliance.

The incumbent will liaise with DOSH, BOMBA and local authorities as needed, maintain safety records, and organize emergency drills to raise safety awareness

Qualifications

• Must possess Green Book / Registered SHO with DOSH Malaysia
• Diploma/Degree in OSH, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
• Minimum 2-5 years experience in construction industry
• Good knowledge of Malaysian safety laws and standards
• Able to prepare reports, conduct training and risk assessment
• Computer literate: MS Office & reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994 and Malaysian safety regulations
• Conduct site safety inspections, HIRARC and hazard identification
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses
• Conduct safety induction, training and toolbox briefing
• Monitor PPE usage and contractor safety compliance
• Liaise with DOSH, BOMBA and local authorities when required
• Maintain safety documents, records and reports
• Organize emergency drills and safety awareness programs
