Job summary

Infosys BPM in Malaysia is seeking an RTR Statutory Reporting & Compliance Specialist to lead statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance for assigned entities, ensuring regulatory alignment and timely financial closing.

You will manage GL integrity, perform reconciliations, coordinate audits, and drive process standardization across APAC operations while mentoring cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance
• 3–5 years in RTR with exposure to General Ledger Accounting, Statutory Reporting, Audits, and Tax Compliance
• Experience in multinational or shared services environment
• Strong knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory financial statement preparation and local GAAP compliance for APAC countries
• Review and post statutory adjustments and GAAP-to-Stat reconciliations
• Coordinate statutory audits and act as primary liaison with auditors
• Support VAT/GST and corporate tax reporting and local tax requirements
• Ensure General Ledger integrity through reconciliations and period-end close
• Drive process standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Controllership, Tax, Finance, and external stakeholders to ensure timely regulatory filings
• Lead and mentor cross-functional team to meet compliance timelines

RTR Statutory Reporting & Compliance Specialist

Role Summary

Lead statutory reporting, audit, and tax compliance activities for assigned entities, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements, timely financial reporting, and effective stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage statutory financial statement preparation and local GAAP compliance for APAC countries.
• Review and post statutory adjustments and GAAP-to-Stat reconciliations.
• Coordinate statutory audits and act as the primary liaison with auditors.
• Support direct and indirect tax compliance, including VAT/GST, corporate tax reporting and local requirement tax estimation.
• Ensure General Ledger integrity through reconciliations, variance analysis, and period-end close activities.
• Drive process standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Controllership, Tax, Finance, and external stakeholders to ensure timely regulatory filings and issue resolution.
• Lead and mentor cross function team members while ensuring delivery against compliance timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance
• 3-5 years of experience in RTR, with strong exposure to:
• General Ledger Accounting
• Statutory Reporting
• External/Internal Audits
• Tax Compliance
• Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel.

Mandatory Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin, with strong speaking, reading, and written communication skills.
• Solid experience across General Ledger, Audit, and Tax processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet regulatory deadlines.
