Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering an RTR Intern position to gain hands-on exposure to financial accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting within a regional Shared Services environment. You will work with experienced finance professionals and gain experience with SAP and global finance processes.

The role covers month-end closing support, financial reporting, audit coordination, data validation, vendor data management, and finance operations.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Accounting, Finance, Business).
Strong interest in accounting, financial reporting, and finance operations.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and core MS Office tools.
Good written and spoken English communication.
Demonstrated analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Month-End Closing Support: assist in period-end closing activities and journal entries.
Financial Reporting: assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports.
Audit Coordination: support schedules and documentation for audits.
Data Validation & Compliance: ensure records are accurate and compliant with policies.
Vendor Master Data Support: validate and maintain vendor data.
Finance Operations: assist with reconciliations, reporting, and process improvements.
Administrative Support: assist Finance with ad hoc projects.
