Job summary

Teleport in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance Intern to join the Record to Report (R2R) Operations team. The role offers hands-on experience in financial reporting, general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end close activities, with collaboration across AR, AP, and Treasury.

You will support end-to-end closing, learn ERP systems (Oracle), and contribute to internal controls, reporting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and numerical accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Support month-end close, posting to GL.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations; investigate variances.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and cash validation.
• Prepare reporting templates, trackers, and dashboards.
• Ensure audit trail and document SOP updates.
• Gain exposure to ERP systems and banking platforms.
