HEINEKEN Malaysia Berhad invites applications for an RTR Intern to support the Finance team with financial reporting, reconciliations, and closing activities. This hands-on role offers exposure to audits, SOP improvements, and process enhancements within a leading brewer's finance operation.

You will develop practical skills in month-end close, reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration while contributing to ongoing process improvements and internal controls adherence.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial data.

Responsabilités

• Support account reconciliation by matching general ledger accounts with sub-ledgers or statements and liaising with relevant stakeholders to clear open items.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and gain exposure to the overall financial performance of the business.
• Assist in preparing internal reports and compiling financial data for financial statements, audits, and other reporting requirements.
• Organise and maintain proper financial documentation while ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support external and internal audits by preparing relevant information and documentation.
• Assist in documenting and improving Finance processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Work closely with Finance and other stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting matters.
• Support projects, process improvement initiatives, and other ad‑hoc assignments from the line manager.
